According to TMZ, a close member of Michael Jackson's family has told them that the king of Pop had received a daily injection of Demerol, a synthetic narcotic similar to morphinem and yesterday he received a shot at 11:30 AM.
Demerol is a fast-acting opioid analgesic drug and is commonly referred to as Pethidine or meperidine, but also isonipecaine; lidol; pethanol; piridosal; Algil; Alodan; Centralgin; Dispadol; Dolantin; Petidin Dolargan, Dolestine; Dolosal; Dolsin; Mefedina.
